BHARTI KHER: ALCHEMIES (YORKSHIRE SCULPTURE) (HB)

A powerful exhibition by internationally renowned British-Indian artist Bharti Kher, who lives and works in London and New Delhi. Her most extensive UK museum presentation to date, 'Alchemies' focusses on the sculptural work that sits at the heart of Kher's rich and diverse practice. Centring the female body and experience, she addresses political issues around identity and gender, drawing on mythology and blurring the boundaries between humankind, nature, animals and objects.
