ABNER AND THE BUBBLEGUM BALLOON (HB)

Abner is the only child that can't blow a bubble at school. He spends all his pocket money on bubble gum and gets to work. His bubble gets bigger, bigger and BIGGER still… The balloon carries him far away to land in a farmer's field, where an unlikely friendship begins. As he earns the money he needs to float home, Abner soon discovers the quiet pleasure of the countryside, the power of friendship, and the profound ways we discover who we are when we dare to venture a little further.
