BIKEPACKING IN THE LAKE DISTRICT (PB)

A guide to eight challenging bikepacking routes - cycle tours with some off-road riding - which explore the tracks, bridleways, iconic passes and road climbs of the Lake District. Suitable for experienced MTB and gravel-bike riders comfortable with rough terrain, the routes can be easily accessed by public transport and are well served for accommodation and facilities - although many riders may opt to wild camp to enhance the feeling of freedom and adventure. Includes the popular Lakeland 200, which can be ridden over 3-5 days.
