In the turmoil of World War Two, a group of Italian prisoners is sent to Camp 60 on the tiny Orkney island of Lamb Holm. Among them is talented artist Domenico, who inspires his comrades to create a symbol of peace during a time of war. And when Italian POW Giuseppe and local woman Fiona develop feelings for each other, he decides to hide a secret token of his love inside.
