HALF BIRD (PB)

When Susan Smillie quit her job in London and set off from the south coast of England on her beloved sailboat, Isean to sail around the British Isles she was unaware that this spontaneous departure would lead to a three-year solo journey from Land's End to Greece, embracing solitude, self-discovery, and resilience. With only the very basics on board, resourcefulness became an unexpected source of joy and contentment. For all the physical and navigational challenges of her journey, the other side of her story reveals a more important change - an inner journey - that was happening along the way.
