Bookspeed partners Streetreads for fourth year
We are very pleased to share that we will be partnering with Edinburgh charity Streetreads for a fourth year.
Streetreads does brilliant work for Edinburgh’s homelessness community. It’s the only physical library in the world that has been set up specifically to support and empower people affected by homelessness - the library in Edinburgh's Old Town offers a much-needed safe and non-transactional space offering access to books, creative opportunities and support.
The charity also does outreach across the city to reach people where they need it most to find a pathway out of poverty and destitution, and opportunities for connection and hope.
The work they do ties in perfectly with our mission of getting more books into the world so we’re very grateful to have the opportunity to help them.
