140 winning and shortlisted images from the 2023 Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition, hosted by the Royal Observatory, Greenwich. The images are submitted in several categories: Skyscapes, Our Sun, Galaxies, Our Moon, Aurorae, Planets, Comets and Asteroids, People and Space, Stars and Nebulae - and also Best Newcomer, Image Innovation and Young Competitor. Each image is accompanied by caption, photographer, location and technical details. There is also a location map showing the origin of all images and a visual appendix.
