When writer Simon Barnes heard a Cetti's warbler call, as he looked at a house for sale, he knew he had found his new home. The garden backed onto eight acres of Norfolk marshland, and Simon and his wife began to manage it as a conservation area, working with the Wildlife Trust to maximise its appeal to all species.
