EYES TURNED SKYWARDS

On 25 August 1942, the brother of King George VI is killed in northern Scotland in an unexplained air crash. A second crash soon after suggests a shared, possibly sinister, cause. Wing Commander Bob Sutherland is sent to find out if sabotage is involved, and if so, who might have reason to carry it out. With the country far from united behind Churchill, and the ever-present threat from Nazi Germany looming, Sutherland unravels layers of deceit and intrigue far beyond anything he expects.
