QUENTIN BLAKE: A YEAR OF DRAWINGS

In normal times, Quentin Blake would make two daily trips to his office across the square from where he lives to see what business there was for him to deal with. But during the lockdowns he had no such demands made on his time. This book is an edited selection of over 3,000 drawings Quentin produced from March 2020 to February 2021. It’s a portfolio of personal - not commissioned - work, and not originally meant for publication. They provide a unique insight into what happens when a great artist is left to his own devices.
