100 YEARS OF LONDON

Told through 300 photographs drawn from the vast records of the Press Association, this is a visual record of London at its best and worst, from the Armistice of 1918 through to the modern day. Hand-picked by the PA’s own archivists, many of the photos have remained unseen since first publication in the newspapers and magazines of their day. Contains carnivals and celebrations, protests and pageantry, conflict and catastrophe, which shaped the lives of millions of Londoners in home, work and community.
