Description
Chris Dorley-Brown has been documenting East London's changing landscape for the last three decades. This time he has turned his lens on its street corners - but with an unusual twist. Shot between 2009 and 2017, these documentary photographs are composed from multiple exposures, a technique that enables Dorley-Brown to play out different narratives simultaneously, creating surreal, dream-like scenes, such as a dog walker and an elderly man with his groceries appearing on the same corner of a half demolished hospital, separated by time.
